Sailing lovers are often aware of the large amount of plastics and waste that floods our seas. Obviously, we all do our best to collect them and return them to port, but more forceful actions are needed to try to mitigate the problem.

In this way, Yacht Center Palma will collaborate with other companies and organizations such as Decathlon, Seabin Project, GOB, Conselleria de Medi Ambient del Govern Balear, Ministerio de agricultura y Medio Ambiente, Reusa Mallorca, Agència Joe and Peter Diving System, in the #MallorcaCleaningDay, a day of volunteering with three main objectives: beach / coastal cleanup. Underwater cleanup and invasive plant removal in Cala Blava. From Yacht Center Palma we will provide one of our AB Inflatables as support boat for the removal of plastics, transfer of divers and equipment.

On Sunday, September 24, in the morning, we invite all our clients / friends to collaborate in this beautiful environmental action. The event includes transportation by bus from Decathlon Marratxí to the Cala Blava area, volunteer T-shirt and picnic.
